Developing New Services

With over 21 years experience, Voyage has an enviable reputation and track record of successfully developing high quality services to support people with a learning disability, physical disabilities and other complex needs. We are a well established provider and have highly experienced and skilled management, professional and technical teams.

We develop and deliver specialist services for people with a variety of needs, including:

  • Complex health needs and physical disabilities

  • Dual diagnosis (learning disability/mental health)

We work with Local Authority and health commissioners; brokers; individual budget holders (or their representatives); housing associations and others to find creative and responsive solutions to providing services. The wide experience and successful track record gained from a very active and sustained development programme over the last five years has enabled Voyage to develop a range of innovative new services in conjunction with commissioners, purchasers and other partner agencies, such as housing associations. 

We are flexible in our approach and can design services and buildings from scratch, or skilfully convert an existing building to a very sophisticated technical specification to meet highly specialised needs.

The needs of service users are integral to the way in which we design and plan new services. We have detailed discussions with potential service users, families, carers and specialist representative groups to ensure our service design solutions meet expressed needs.

Commissioners have been delighted by our flexibility, creativity and the speed at which we are able to work, taking projects from conception through design, site finding, planning and commissioning, to realisation. We are also regularly complimented by purchasers, service users, their families and regulators on the quality of the finished services.
